The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was magnificent, right on the central Plaza. Tlaxcala City Cathedral is a 10-15 minute walk from the property. The fruit, vegetable, and potato were outstanding. There was lots of food overall.

The actual building, it is an ancient colonial one, very well located in the city's main square, with a good restaurant and a spacious parking.
The overall staff service is very unprofessional. No help or assitance given when a problem about the reservation arised, nor was any cocktail or cafe service offered while relaxing in the lobby or by the poolside. We were literally chased after while strolling along the main street for not having handed in the buffet voucher, on the assumption that were eloping without paying. At 13.00 hrs on Saturday we were told that because checking out hours had expired, we would have to pay an extra day, when in fact he reservation was for two days, until Sunday.

It was raining so we only spent one nite. I need to return to see the town/
When we arrived , we had confirmed reservations for two rooms. When we checked in we were told a big group had checked in before us and they could only give us one room. Secondly, it was about 4:30 or 5 and that one room was still having to be cleaned. When we returned from getting a cup of coffee, they had finally found us another room. The coffee in the morning in the restaurant was poorly brewed.
